2018 Volkswagen Tiguan | Waukesha, WI
Perhaps the most exciting part of our job at EVS Volkswagen in Menomonee Falls, WI is when one of our long-loved models receives a redesign, and in the case of our popular Tiguan crossover SUV, it’s certainly news worth sharing. In the coming model year, we’re going to debut an all-new 2018 Volkswagen Tiguan, complete with a redesign and -- if we may say so ourselves -- a totally different focus than before.
But first off, let’s touch on the redesign itself. Gone are the subtle lines and conservative styling of its predecessor, and taking their place are muscular accents that echo what we’ve already seen from the yet-to-arrive 2018 Volkswagen Atlas. It’s longer and more spacious as well, which we’ll get to below. But the chief takeaway is this: the new Tiguan signals the path forward for Volkswagen from a design perspective, and it’s certainly intriguing.
|Standard 2.0L TSI Engine||Available Volkswagen Digital Cockpit||Fully Redesigned for 2018|
|184 hp||Available 12.3-inch gauge display||Spacious seating for 7 in three rows|
|221 lb-ft of torque||Available VW Car-Net App-Connect with 8-inch touchscreen||Approximately 57% more cargo volume than in outgoing model|

2018 Volkswagen Tiguan Redesign Details
While the exterior of the 2018 Volkswagen Tiguan is certainly drawing praise from across the industry, it actually might be the interior that makes believers out of discerning buyers. First and foremost among the new changes is the availability of adding a third row of seating, meaning that seven adult occupants can now fit comfortably inside. This also means adding a significant amount of interior cargo volume -- it is ten inches longer, after all -- so that the Tiguan is even more adept at vacation-taking than it once was.
Of course, none of this is to overlook the terrific tech and performance features that the 2018 Volkswagen Tiguan exudes in abundance. The standard 2.0L TSI engine is the perfect all-situations companion, rewarding buyers with 184 hp and 221 lb-ft of torque. Meanwhile, the tech features are no less impressive, particularly the new Volkswagen Digital Cockpit, which allows users to toggle their gauges to better reflect what information they need at any given time.
The 2018 Volkswagen Tiguan is set to arrive at EVS Volkswagen in Menomonee Falls and serving the greater Milwaukee and Waukesha areas in summer of 2017, but you can already visit our dealership to get more information. Schedule your test drive today!
